I take it that you have changed the name servers at your Domain Registrar? I.e., you went into your Domain Registrar Account, which is different from cPanel, it is your Domain Account. Your Domain account provides for managing a Domain, and in the managing options there is an option for inserting name servers. Apologies if you have already done this. Just trying to eliminate all possibilities. If you haven’t added the new name servers physically at your Domain Account, add it now and give it some time to propagate. It sometimes takes a lot of time.
If it is still not fixed, possibly you need to make adjustments to your DNS in cPanel. I didn’t have to, but maybe there is an automatic setup by cPanel if the name server is the same as the domain as in my case. Not sure. But maybe you need to add records to your Zone Editor. The Zone Editor is in the Domains Section of cPanel.
Once you’re in the Zone Editor, there is a Manage link which will then allow you to add records. Maybe you need to read through all of the records to see whether something is standing out.
When I checked my records in my Zone Editor, there are none referring to ns1 or ns2. There is also not a capability for adding NS records. So I thought I should just mention this to you in case you were looking for those. I have those at other panels. But not this one. I have A, TXT, CNAME and MX records in cpanel. Check that the IP is correct. The IP is the one that is mentioned in cPanel on the right hand side of the panel called shared IP.
So if you have exhausted all of the above and it is still not working, then I would go for Binil’s recommendation from right at the start when he suggested to use Cloudflare. I don’t like Cloudflare personally, but it’s just a Genesis strange thing. I know Cloudflare is very good and works for millions of people. At the end of your free application you will get Cloudflare name servers, which you then have to change to at your Domain Registrar. Cloudflare will help you step by step to set it all up.
