Hi Binil, I feel your pain have been crazy couple of months as well. Thank you again for the great service.
I know you did this to help everyone from the previous service. For that I am always thankful.
The feedback I give above was in order to be implemented slowly when you have time to make more engagement 🙂 So far bbpress is doing the deal and the more it comes the better for the forum.
Intel is not innovating like it was before. Even AMD is becoming better with small chips.
On the time of the powerpc, Apple switch to intel for the same reason speed of innovation and intel was much better then.February 5, 2021 at 8:56 pm in reply to: My favourite WordPress Backup and Migration Plugin – what is yours? #175
Yes, Thank you for the advice binil. I will be doing backups like usual and take them offline to not use space on the server as well. Because using WordPress plugins also is bad on that with short space is better to have all on the computer offline.
I agree I think things will start to shift and desktop and laptops to catch up they probably use the same technologies like ARM chips. I am very excited about what Apple is doing with the new M1 macs that bring apps from mobile to laptop as well. I think that will be a good future bridge
I still find myself using more the phone just for pure necessity but I am expecting to check a new laptop and see if I can use more to do the majority of the tasks. I can see in the future maybe a combination of both and even the phone becoming more and more powerful and manage everythingJanuary 12, 2021 at 4:28 pm in reply to: My favourite WordPress Backup and Migration Plugin – what is yours? #154
I just do the smart backup and the manual from the cpannel and after what you recommended Binil and transfer via ftp all is working like a charm even the data base. So for now is my go to backup plan. Maybe in the future I will also use a WordPress plug-in to make it more simple or also have another plan B.
That sounds great Binil. I will wait for the updates to test them out. Thank you again for the great service here it works like a charm! 🙂
Also, a suggestion since we have to keep counting the post number every month. What about adding under the username and picture the number of posts done and the remaining to complete?
Finally was able to upload via ftp and ssl is working good 🙂 Great service and cpannel.
Was able to configure the eu.org domain and also the ssl certificate.
While trying to restore the files it gives me now an error
An error occurred. Your account may be over its quota or you attempted to upload a folder.
But the issue is the maximum is 1.99 Gb and my file has 537MB…So can’t see where the problem comes from.
Also even with the ssl certificate activated the cpannel is still saying ‘insecure connection’
I think I am having problems.. tried to put the nameservers but give me 2 errors.
Error: Answer not authoritative
I will wait for the 24h you told me to see if there is any change. How did you move your 2 accounts eu.org.. any tips? You just needed to wait?
I will give a check and let you know how things go.December 10, 2020 at 11:19 pm in reply to: My favourite WordPress Backup and Migration Plugin – what is yours? #103
Is funny that you mention that I was using the migrating assistant from the cpannel on giga and now doing it from WordPress.
I tried one time a plug-in on WordPress to do it and it went so wrong that I just do two backups the migration assistance and manual database and files.
Am I complicating my life and with the plug-in you are mention the process is easy?
Because now I will have to configure everything here and maybe the backups I did will make my life harder.
That is interesting but this bores seems very classical and not the best interface. Is there more then bbpress that could boost a bit more the experience?
Like for example be able to like and reply just quoting like it use to be done on giga even the addition of polls?
Since you were there you might know what is some additional things vinil could try here.
